As Joey Styles, Austin Owens, and Jim Ross are interrupted from introducing tonight's show, a familiar, yet new sound blares through our ears.
The crowd roars with cheers, as Theory of a Deadman's "No Chance In Hell" blares through the arena. With a smug look on his face, Vince McMahon struts out onto the stage with his trademark walk. Vince is dressed in the finest of suits, as he makes his way down the ramp. As he reaches the steps, he walks up them and ducks under the top rope. Entering the ring that he build, Vince beckons for a microphone. As the mic is handed to him, Vince stands in the center of the ring and unbuttons his jacket. As his music fades away, he clears his throat.
Mr. McMahon: Shane... you little son of a bitch!
The crowd begins to roar at Vince's belittling of Shane O'Mac.
Mr. McMahon: Last week you walked your ungrateful ass down to this ring, and you made a statement. You told these people that I was what was wrong with this business. You told these people that I... the man that built this house... that made this industry what it is today... should retire. Well, I got news for you, you little rotten brat! Your daddy dearest... is never retiring!!! Vincent Kennedy McMahon will be in the squared circle until he's dead! And Shane.... there's not a DAMN thing you... or anyone else can do about it!

Just as Vince finishes his impassioned speech emphatically, the familiar tune that has interrupted him many times before begins sounding through the arena. Fans can be heard displaying their hatred, unanimously booing as the SNME Founder, Shane McMahon, comes bursting onto the staging area. Shuffling his feet and swinging his arm Shane O' soon stops at the top of the staging, dawning a wickedly evil grin. Dressed in his usual casual suit Shane makes his way to the ring, mouthing words to his Father before him off microphone. Soon Shane reaches the steps, ascending them and entering the ring, soon after being handed a microphone by one of his employees ringside. Shane now locks eyes with his seething parent, still sporting his arrogant grin. Shane's music slowly begins to fade out into the sea of fans booing the Billion Dollar Boy, as he begins to speak to his Dad.
Shane McMahon: Wow pops... You just stated on live TV that you would never retire... That you will be in this ring until the day you die... Now of course, you made wrestling what it is today Dad. Growing up, you were my idol the way you handled this business... Which is why it's such a disgrace to see what you've become today!
[/i] Shane pauses as Vince's face begins to turn red with rage. His son however, appears much calmer, but serious as he continues.
Shane McMahon:I mean Dad, think about what you've done to the wrestling business lately... You took the WWE, your birth right, your baby.... And in what can only be described as the onsets of senility you drove it directly in the ground! You've made nothing but the wrong decisions since 2004! You put all of the wrong people in charge, overlooked the best talents on your roster, and fired anyone who Paul told you to! You allowed our family to become a laughing stalk until I, that's right ME, not you, began building anew with Saturday Night's Main Event. But the one thing... The one thing that didn't fade with your growing age and your decreasing sense of judgement... Was your selfish, self-centered, egotistical nature! [/i] Shane is now the one who appears to be overflowing with anger in this emotional confrontation between Father and Son.
Shane McMahon:You still just HAVE to be the center of attention, the center of all that happens in the wrestling world! I started SNME with my own money, with my own investments, with my own staff! I didn't want or need your help and it was clear you didn't have any faith in this company to begin with! You didn't think anything could get as big and powerful as the global commodity you created in the WWE, but guess what Dad!? SNME is not only successful, we're the biggest damn thing on the air! [/i] Though their opinions of Shane are unchanged, the faithful SNME fans do take a few brief moments to give a slight pop at Shane's statments of SNME's success.
Shane McMahon:But you... You just couldn't stand not being the one getting all of the credit for it could you? You had to come back and bring a bunch of guys in their mid 40's to try stealing to the spotlight from where it should be, which is on my superstars and ME! So pops... I'll give you the spotlight you want, the spotlight you crave... At Silent Night, Violent Night me and you will each choose a superstar... One of your attitude era wash ups versus one of my top notch superstars. There, we will both be ringside to watch as a family, so that way I can show why not everything ages like some fine wine... some things just get old...[/i] Shane lowers his microphone awaiting a response from his father, recieving a mixed reaction from the auience, not knowing what to think of the pay per view match they just heard being booked.TBC: Vinny Mac[/center]
